Choose four photos, and a song is born.
まず、1枚目の写真を選びます
First, choose your first photo
その1枚で、曲のアレンジやテンポ、伴奏の楽器、音の響き方などが決まります。
That one photo sets the arrangement, the tempo, the backing instruments, how the sound echoes, and more.
2枚目、3枚目と写真を足していきます
Then add a second photo, and a third
写真を足すたびに、新しい音が重なっていきます。
Each photo you add layers in new sounds.
4枚で、1分ほどの曲になります
Four photos make a song about a minute long
できた曲は動画として保存でき、Instagram などの SNS にも投稿できます。
Save the finished song as a video, and share it on Instagram and other social media.

動画の見せ方を、2つから選べます
Choose from two video styles
4枚の写真を1枚にまとめた「four in one」と、4枚が次々に現れる「one by one」。どちらでも書き出せます。
"four in one" puts all four photos in a single frame. "one by one" shows them one after another. Export either.
写真ごとに、短い言葉を添えられます
Add a short line to each photo
「one by one」を選んだときは、写真1枚ごとに短い言葉（英語）を載せられます。
With "one by one", you can add a short line of text to each photo.
作った曲は、一覧に残ります
Every song is kept in your list
4枚目まで入れて曲ができあがると、自動で一覧に保存されます。一覧は左上のボタンから開けて、続けて途切れずに再生することもできます。
When your fourth photo completes a song, it's saved to your list automatically. Open the list from the top-left button and play your songs back to back.

静かな曲だけにしたいときは、QUIETモードを
Want only quiet songs? Turn on QUIET mode
設定で QUIETモードをオンにすると、ピアノ独奏か、ドラムの入らない静かな曲だけで作ります。無料のプランでも使えます。
Turn on QUIET mode in Settings, and 4tr makes only solo piano pieces or quiet songs without drums. Available on the free plan too.
同じ写真でも、QUIETモードのオンとオフでは別の曲になります。曲の途中で切り替えたときは、次の曲から適用されます。
The same photos make a different song with QUIET mode on or off. If you switch partway through a song, it applies from your next song.

Export the MIDI and carry the song on yourself
有料の Pro プラン（準備中）では、曲の MIDI データと、パートごとの音を書き出せるようになります。お使いの音楽制作ソフトに読み込めば、その曲の続きを自分の手で作ることができます。
On the paid Pro plan (planned for a future update), you'll be able to export the song's MIDI data and each part as its own audio file. Bring them into your music software and carry the song on with your own hands.

曲づくりに使った写真は、どうなりますか？What happens to the photos I use?
曲づくりに使ったあと、元の写真はサーバーから削除されます。4枚を組み合わせた小さなジャケット画像だけが残ります。
After your song is made, the original photos are deleted from our servers. Only a small combined cover image remains.
1曲はどのくらいの長さですか？How long is a song?
およそ1分です。曲のテンポによって前後します。
About a minute. It varies with the tempo of the song.
一度4trに入れた写真を、差し替えることはできますか？Can I swap a photo after putting it into 4tr?
1曲ごとに、各トラック決まった回数まで差し替えられます（Free は3回。Light と Pro は準備中で、5回・10回の予定です）。
Yes, a set number of times per track for each song (3 on Free. Light and Pro, planned for a future update, will allow 5 and 10.)
同じ写真を入れると、同じ曲になりますか？Do the same photos make the same song?
同じ写真を同じ順番で入れれば、同じ曲になります（QUIETモードのオン・オフも同じ場合）。ただ、4trの曲づくりの仕組みは少しずつ更新していくため、アプリの版が変わると、同じ写真からでも違う曲になることがあります。すでに作った曲は、作ったときのまま残ります。
Yes. The same photos in the same order make the same song (with QUIET mode set the same way). But we keep updating how 4tr makes songs, so after an app update, the same photos may make a different song. Songs you've already made stay just as they were.
どうして Free プランだと、次の曲を作れるまで待ち時間があるのですか？Why is there a wait before the next song on the Free plan?
4trは、昔ながらのMTR（マルチトラックレコーダー＝録音機）をイメージして作りました。待ち時間は、使うと熱を持ち、冷めるまで少し休ませる古い機材をイメージした演出です。Light と Pro（準備中）では、待たずに続けて作れるようになります。
4tr was made with old MTRs (multitrack recorders) in mind. The wait is a touch of that world — an old machine that warms up as you use it and needs a moment to cool down. On Light and Pro (planned for a future update), you'll be able to keep making songs without waiting.

4枚そろえば、あなただけの曲になる。
Four photos, and it's your song.
このアプリは、昔ながらのMTR（マルチトラックレコーダー）をイメージして作りました。4つのトラックに音を重ねて、1曲を作る録音機です。昔の録音機は、録った音を何度でも自由に録り直せるものではありませんでした。デジタルカメラとアナログカメラの関係と同じです。
4trでも、選んだ写真をあとから何度でも選び直せるようにはしていません。あえて、そうしています。アナログの機械のような制約の中で、今この一瞬の1枚を選ぶ。そんな録音機をイメージして、4trを作りました。
This app was made with old MTRs (multitrack recorders) in mind — the kind that build a song by layering sound onto four tracks. Those recorders didn't let you re-record freely as many times as you liked. It's like the difference between a digital camera and a film camera.
4tr doesn't let you endlessly re-choose your photos either. That's on purpose. Within the limits of an analog machine, you choose the one photo of this moment. That's the recorder we imagined when we made 4tr.
